"Water-cooling issue" started at June 6, 2026, 12:15 a.m. and is on-going. .

Around midnight, we experienced another water-cooling issue. This means that all compute is currently unavailable, but all other systems are up and running.

We're in contact with the vendor of the water-cooling, however due to this being a weekend, we expect the issue to be fixed no earlier than Monday.

Software updates

During this planned maintenance we will perform updates to core services (faststorage and the queuing system).

This maintenance will not affect the clinical data dump, but it will affect MOMA VarSeq.

At the start of the maintenance we will close all open connections and shut off access to the cluster for all users.

Queued jobs overlapping the maintenance window will not start. Running jobs will be re-queued at the start of the maintenance.

Water-cooling issue

We just experienced a complete shutdown of the central cooling unit that cools must of our compute. The compute nodes powered off to prevent overheating. We are now powering compute on again.

Connecting new equipment to water-cooling

During this downtime, we will connect our new water-cooled rack to water. All compute, including the GPUs, will be down (jobs will not run), but it will still be possible to log in, submit jobs, and access storage.

Queued jobs overlapping the maintenance window will not start. Running jobs will be re-queued at the start of the maintenance.

Downtimes during the past three months.
